Taihape Gum Boot Day

I took a drive down the road over the weekend to Taihape's gumboot day celebrations.  It was a great family day out, and the event had that typical New Zealand Kiwiana feeling with live music, gumboot art, kids entertainment and craft and food stalls.  My husband and I had much debate over strategy of our gumboot throws and wow there was some impressive distances made by some. The Baa Blacks were really neat but the lawn mower racing stole most of our attention. Thanks to

 It was such a beautiful day and the scenery was at its best so we pulled over alot to take pics oh, and a stop in to Huntsville's Revive to test out the ice cream. It was a great day had by all.

Air force's 75th Anniversary Airshow

 The skies over Bulls will be busy on the 31st of March with aircraft from all over the world.  Tickets have gone on sale for what will be the plane spotters event of the year. Just go to event finder or call into the Bulls info centre. If you are coming from out of town get your accommodation booked quick. SEE YOU THERE.
